ESF Network

The Regional Development Australia Far North coordinates and manages the Northern Employment and Skills Formation (ESF) Network to assist the delivery of training, skills and pathways to employment specific to the needs of this region. The Network is one of 13 operating in South Australia.

This Network has been operating since March 2004 and is working collaboratively with both the supply and demand side of employment and skills development to focus on employment opportunities and to meet perceived skill shortages.

In summary the Network wants to enhance our labour market by creating more employment opportunities to ensure our region is more competitive as a result of our highly skilled and adaptive workforce, while better integrating  the resources and efforts of State and Commonwealth programs and ensure our community does not ignore those individuals who fall outside mainstream education, training and work placement systems 

Although sharing a common framework and sharing a common set of objectives and responsibilities, each Employment and Skills Formation Network operates according to unique regional parameters.
